goldie, You know, I didn't even know Ford signed with Manu. How far are they along, do you know? When I was at Dell we did a cost study and the results were that a few custom logistics apps (in the SCM area, Dell wrote these themselves) could save 1.5% off the cost of sales. of course thats kind of funny money because you know these mgmt consutants - you gotta watch 'em - they count everything like $$ saved in storage in the warehouse, etc. Nonetheless think about that, 1.5% cost of sales for Dell, thats a huge number!
