Neal, I think Sprint is full of @#$!. Revolutionary--lets see, they are using ATM. Therefore, count on the multiple voice lines and faxes being a sort of VoIP type technology. If I have this pegged right, they will use ATM for voice, video, and data. ATM can support multiple simultaneous channels. Now for the BUT! But, Sprint still has to deliver the ATM to the home. That is done over a LOCAL LOOP. Tell me who has access to the local loops. Now, lets say in a year the local loops become unbundled and they can essentially buy dry copper. The only means I know of to deliver ATM at high speeds over a piece of copper is ADSL. ATM over ADSL. I can't believe they have a new transmission technology that the PHds' at Bellcore, Bell labs, and the RBOCs have not discovered. If they do, how does it work over DLC systems, how far over straight copper, etc... There is plenty to find out here. I'm not worried yet. Just need to learn more. Hal
