David D They are two different shows.

The show Frank was refering to was the one in LA, since the show in Baltimore was not yet started. As for who won awards in Baltimore, this is the first I have heard of any Best of Show winners. There could be more for this catergory, or it could be in a technically different catergory, as each show designates how these awards are given and decided upon. I have yet to see a list available from the Baltimore show, so it will definitely be interesting to see how the competition lines up.

As for LKON, they make a very good quality product, IMO, though I have not had the opportunity to try it. I will be going to the CT Expo in Sept, in NYC and hope to be able to see it there. LKON, Clarent and Vienna Sys, are the serious Gateway competition for FTEL, right now. The larger players, LU, ASND etc, are moving very slowly, and with the expense of a corporation utilizing the big boys IT tech, I think that those are the three competitors to keep an eye on for the next year or so. If Clarent and Vienna sys were public, you could hedge your bets, among these top four, of which at least two are going to be very big winners.
