Never heard of SEEC before, saw it on the hot list, saw a post that said stock price < book value and bought 5000 at 8 13/16.

Does anyone know what the book value is ? Yahoo shows it at 2.77, p/e of 17.66, earnings of 0.46

SEEC is a Y2K company developing software in India?

No wonder it has dropped so far! I checked out their web site
and can't really see that they have much beyond a Y2K solution.
And India doesn't sound like the place to be doing business.

At a PE of 17, it just still seems too expensive to me. Where
are future earnings coming from?? The future seems very volatile
and unclear after sales of Y2K end later this year or early
next year.

At a PE of 17 I would expect good growth for several years atleast.

Opinions?
