Thanks. When I have a bit of time, I'll try to do just this. I think I may have both memory release and memory leak problems. Your point about it likely being particular applications makes sense. I don't have anything very non-standard in my NT setup.

I do use Datek (seen some of your posts on that thread, and find it interesting that their setup could cause a memory leak on our systems, given that the access software is non-proprietary (i.e., NS or IE.)

The fact that you and Spots aren't regularly dealing with these problems is itself very informative--suggests I shouldn't have to live with them if I get my act together.
