Yes, all other CEOs except microsoft's. I'm not aware of any that either internally or as indicated by their business practices do that. Some other companies have excellent products that just become the defact standard becuase they're good. MS on otoh, leverages its monopoly in avery way.

REALLY? Well, you need to open your eyes and ears then! Ever heard of Larry Ellison?

If your CEO doesn't want to crush the competition, I'd suggest you find a new job before the company goes away.

you answered your own argument. To clarify it for you: Gates WILL become a content provider to get those dineros. The rest is self explanatory (unless you want me to clarify)

They already are content providers - MSN and Sidewalk (and some other things). It's just not that profitable or interesting for them.

There's no will about it! He already is a content provider. Just take a look at MSNBC, Expedia, etc...

For example, a travel agent is paid approximately 10% of the price of an airline ticket as a commission. It'd be interesting to know how many millions of $$$ has Expedia alone produced for Bill!

BTW - my personal opinion is that Bill will either be shot or kidnapped within the next couple of years. I really wonder if all the MS stockholders are ready for life without Bill.
