<That has been the case for about 5 or 6 quarters. However, Intel's technology has not stood still and it is this technology and their manufacturing capability that I am betting on.>

I've stopped, for some time now, believing blindly in Intel's
technology (ie. design). They do however, with the possible
exception of IBM, possess the best manufacturing capability and
a proven ability to execute.

Paul, My upbringing teaches me to compose the right questions, answers are found in the questions! gg

Is there really request for faster chips by common mortals that buy
PC's?

Is the conusmer preapred to pay extra buck for faster PC's,
only a year after they have bought the Pentium II??

How much new technology is enough?

Is INTC going the same way as MOT? Is it turning to become a big
slow and sluggish giant! Always INTC, but no longer a grouth stock?

Pls. don't get me wrong, I am the first one to keep his finger cross for INTC, becasue I got money tied up in the company, not spare change! However, I am convcerned, like many other investors in our
Immortal Beloved! gg

Last but not least, you have always been long on INTC, but it seems
to me you advise someone to shorten the stock??
