Limtex,

Please see my prior post regarding insider sales. They are boxed out from further sales or purchases until several days after the next earnings report is out.

The whole notion that insiders are dumping is pretty implausible. There are SEC filings called form 144's which announce intended stock sales by officers and I commented about that earlier. I was reassured that some officers routinely sell blocks of shares each quarter as part of their compensation package and this has happened regularly for many quarters.

This roller coaster ride has been upsetting to us all, but recall that there has not been any adverse information offered by the company. A company that has gone out of its way to make us informed about the treacherous path which it has chosen to follow. It doesn't seem like we have stepped on any land mines just yet. (The only problem is that it seems like we are about to step on one!)

I read the Yahoo! thread and the Viking representative's e-mail is posted there. Here would be a great question...

"How are the CompactFlash and SmartMedia sales going?"

If he says they are "on fire" or "can't keep 'em on the shelves" then it is clear that many of our worries about falling chip prices are exaggerated. The market will determine a fair value for this wonderful product. It's not like they are 3.5 floppy discs or something like that. These chips are in the early days of their marketable life.
