That's what caused CIEN to move up sharply, and mention was made of their long-distance DWDM. Of course, there was no mention of Osicom's metro DWDM, the GigaMUX.

Interoperable DWDM products enable service providers to build flexible, scalable, cost-effective networks. Both companies successfully completed initial testing between Lucent's WaveStar(TM) OLS 40G and Cambrian's OPTera(TM) Metro DWDM systems, as well as Lucent's WaveStar OLS 40OG long-haul DWDM system.
