Robert, You miss my entire point. First of all this was not just a phone call. The information was provided to me by someone I know well and see in person at least once a week. She has been working for the VA for 20+ years. The information I provided comes from someone who is "in the field" working hands on with VA patients for over 1/2 her life. The post was intended to shed some light on a study done on a very small population of ED patients. The study does not mention anything about how well these men complied nor if they were smokers or heavy drinkers. I am searching for truth in this study and I think my relationship with someone who works with VA patients gives me confidence that the study was probably done on the worst possible patient pool and that the VA may very well have anti-Vivus motives since they have a binding contract with the company.
