Hey Dick. Don't kill the messenger. I'm just relating the experience I had with Waterhouse. One thing I did notice in your post though is that you use Webbroker. I am not trading through the web. I am using their pc product called Waterhouse Investor's PC Network. This supposedly dials into their system and takes the trade. It is a $12 commission also for up to 5000 shares. If this is the same as what you are using, please let me know and I will call Waterhouse immediately. As a matter of fact I will call anyway. Gary S.
