Well Cisco had to play catch up. Is it not what a "leader" in its field is supposed to do ? And the analysts very conveniently forget to mention the availability dates of these products from their darling. From what I read it ranges from Q3 98 to Q1 99 giving Ascend products a good 9-12 months of zero competition design wins some we have already seen. These promise more business down the road for the incumbent vendor. -hitesh
