Robbie, No I didn't find any private messages. I believe that someone either mistakenly saw the "New Replies" as a private message or the whole thing was a hoax. BTW, the "New Replies" do come up on Alta Vista and do have the appearance of a "private" message; namely, the colored border. Mark, Only a fraction of my posts actually show up on AV. Less than 20%. BTW, I am including both the posts from me and the posts to me sice Alta Vista does not distinguish between the two. If your name is on a post, it is indexed. So assuming you get 1 reply for each message sent, multiply your total posts by 2 to see how many should be indexed. BK
