Ram thanks..

Excellent response from you.

Remember when Prudential downgraded SYNT when it was at 30+.
We laughed all the way to 60. Please review last Friday's Investor's
Business Daily, SYNT still is favoured by several Funds. It ranked
#1 and topped the list complied by IBD based on fundamentals. SYNT, I believe is the only one among several Y2K+ stocks which continues to enjoy an IBD EPS/RS strength of 99/98 to-date.

SYNT has gone down with the rest of the market and will react accordingly.

Sorry Ravi, the report I posted earlier was a verbatim one from the said
NewsLetter.

Ram, thank you for your response. Any comment on the recent acquisition of canadian IT company by Mastech. With this acquisition the percentage of their non-US workers is increasing. Looks like it is positioning itself as a aggressive global IT company with more acquisitions in the pipeline (I joined a telephonic conference call today where sunil wadhwani - CEO gave a brief business update. Dependency on H1-B visa decreased to around 30%).

Dear Ram: I will add two more things to your response. One, yes there is a shortage, as a result it is estimated that FEES will skyrocket in 1999 (since SYNT uses much Indian labor I would expect that margins will substantially improve) Two, 88% or so of SYNT stock is owned by management leaving very small float. IMHO a person would have to be a fool to short this stock with that scenario. Price more determined by what management does with their shares than the market. JDN
