If you combine all the stuff that Cirrus is providing, and all the stuff that IBM is providing (except the memory), into one chip, how much could the system be sold for then??? For the sake of argument, let's give that chip a name. How about MXi?

Thanks for the news!

This is the buyer market now. An M2-PR233 is faster than 90% PCs in service and could be bought as low as $599!!

I am using an K6-336/112 with 96MB EDO timing at 112Mhz. The best Business Winstone97 that I could score from this system is 71.7!

Even though K6-336 is significantly faster than my previous M2-208Mhz or M2-PR233 (188Mhz) in all benchmarks, I could hardly notice any performance difference among the three with my most familiar daily applications.

The new M2-PR233 @$599 is going to bite another piece off Intel market share.
