Have mercy! The last soccer match I watched was the 1994 final between Brazil and Italy*... Mercy !?? This is the SI Universe, I have not read the word mercy in the proverbial "terms of use", therefore no mercy.... Be bold and optimistic, like Ronaldo [he thinks Argentina will win] and give your opinion, you can always change it after the first phase is over.... As for watching soccer matches, well, after I blew my posterior cruxiate [spl ?] ligament in 1986 it was curtains for me playing the game, and so I was relegated to watching only..... so I only watch the World Cup matches, and in the last one I only watched a few... So I am completely disconnected, but I have a faint idea. After doing some recent reading I believe that Brazil may be in for a nasty surprise.... I think Germany and Argentina are looking stronger everyday. In addition, I believe that the US team is going to surprise many So do not be shy, and simply make a list of countries (the ones in of course), and throw some darts at it..... that is how I pick my winning stocks..... Now for more info on the sport here are a few sites of interest: FIFA Home page:fifa2.com Other soccer links:proweb.com International Soccer:sunsite.tut.fi Italia page:isfa.com Brazil:proweb.com England:sunsite.tut.fi Greece:sunsite.tut.fi Mexico: (the second link has interesting information about ALL players for all teams in this tournament etc.)futbolmundial.com.mx futbolmundial.com.mx *********Dexter, I found a site with some videos:**********futbrasil.com It is in Portuguese: "Aqui nesta se‡ao de v¡deos buscaremos levar a vocˆ os mais recentes e tamb‚m os mais famosos e memor veis gols do futebol brasileiro e internacional. Para que vocˆ possa assistir nossos gols utilize o programa M¡dia Player do seu Windows 95. Agradecemos a ajuda essencial de Leonardo Pareja." It says: Here, in this video section we will look forward to take to you the most recent and also the most famous and memorable goals of the Brazilian and International Football. For you to be able to access our goals use the program Midi-Player of your Windows 95. We thank the essential assistance of Leonardo Pareja. If there are any Brasileiros reading the above, my apologies as my Portu¤ol may be a little rusty... If there are Portuguese reading the above, remember that Brasileiro is somehow different from the mother tongue.... (they say...) Anyway I hope you all enjoy it. I need to get a new Gateway (or Dell) 400 Mhz with the necessary video capabilities (as in FAST). Z. The video Page, it has many historical goals: (from past world cups)futbrasil.com It takes a while to load.....
