Have mercy! The last soccer match I watched was the 1994 final between Brazil and Italy... Mercy !?? This is the SI Universe, I have not read the word mercy in the proverbial "terms of use", therefore no mercy.... Be bold and optimistic, like Ronaldo [he thinks Argentina will win]* and give your opinion, you can always change it after the first phase is over.... As for watching soccer matches, well, after I blew my posterior cruxiate [spl ?] ligament in 1986 it was curtains for me playing the game, and so I was relegated to watching only..... so I only watch the World Cup matches, and in the last one I only watched a few... So I am completely disconnected, but I have a faint idea. After doing some recent reading I believe that Brazil may be in for a nasty surprise.... I think Germany and Argentina are looking stronger everyday. In addition, I believe that the US team is going to surprise many So do not be shy, and simply make a list of countries (the ones in of course), and throw some darts at it..... that is how I pick my winning stocks.....
