a dollar movement on a $50 stock would be 2%. In proportion with the split it would only take a .50 movement on a $25 (post split) to get the same results. Therefore, % wise, the % move should take exactly twice the number of shares. to move it a $1 it would take 4X the number of shares. So your assumption is correct if you are looking at the dollar amount of movement. If you are looking at the % movement, which is what I look at, then there should be no exhaustion adjustment.

I also am of the understanding that fundamental ratios are adjusted for splits.
