Hi everyone. Just noticed that WAVX has a brief blurb on E3 posted at their web site, which includes this statement:

<<Wave generated considerable interest among show attendees and initiated partnership discussions with many top-level content providers. (Stay tuned for additional information.)>>

Just thought you all should know!

Marty,

Thanks for the links...

With regards to the per-minute-fee for internet voice-to-voice, I don't think that can ever happen without significant regulation and cost. (So much for deregulation). In effect, that would prevent a software company from building any commercial product that takes voice, breaks it up into packets and ships them over the wire. I don't think they can succeed at that, it would require extensive infrastructure and constant monitoring.

I only dabble in the telecom field, so anyone else with more experience, please contribute to the discussion so we all can learn.

In any case, it will be interesting to see how the how telecommunications industry plays out during these new and exciting times...
