RCNC, perhaps backed by Level 3 (48+% ownership)?

Sauron,

Im going to wait a few days. But, I will say this. Its on your list, and the two have good synergies. ICG is big in California, Ohio valley and not the Pacific Northwest. ICG is traditionally a voice service provider, although now stronger in Data and of course Internet. My question is, how can a smaller CLEC (about 1/3 the size) acquire a larger one? I guess its all about selling it to the stockholders. Perhaps its an act of desperation or boldness. One things for sure, its going to surprise a lot of people - including you and me.
