Netcom ISP is Blocking SI since 8/10/98

I can't use my Netcom ISP to get here.
I wrote this using my AOL ISP.
I've never seen such selective
site blocking by an ISP before.

Anyone else notice this problem?

MindSpring is buying Netcom's operations from ICG. Price is only $245 million for about 400,000 subscribers. As you may recall, ICG paid $225 million (net of $60 million in cash on NETC's books) a year ago.

Pretty lousy 9% pretax gain for an ISP in 1998. MSPG gained more than 400% in the same period. Interesting, eh?
