Elmer, "War" I was planning on the Merced being Intels "big gun". Unfortunately this has been delayed a year. The K7 will be AMDs server chip. It will intro sooner than you think and at higher clockspeeds than you think. Meanwhile, the K6-2 is a nicely positioned chip and I hear yields are very good. Within a month some K6-2-350s will hit the market. The Classic K6 will begin to be phased out. Check back and see if I'm right. Jim
