I do know how KMAG will effect us. It seems to me that our bad news is out and behind us, but who knows what the market will do until it does it.

The Komag announcement, while clearly a short term negative, is long term positive for two reasons:
1.it was caused by a trend that is good for this industry, and that is the build to order trend
2.it indicates that GMR will enter volume production in the 2nd half of 1999; this will give RDRT time to catch up to IBM
