ADGI's Internet Affiliate Announces Internet Long Distance Services NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 1998--American Diversified Group (OTC BB:ADGI) Wednesday announced that its affiliate, Global Transmedia Communications Corp. Miami (GTCC), is now marketing a unique Internet telephony service that will save users up to 95% on long distance calls, with no calling time charges or restrictions. GTCC, through its CheapTalk Internet Telephony service (www.cheaptalk.net), is bringing on line the first gateway Internet telephony service locations under its InfoGate services. ADGI's affiliate, working in conjunction with Innomedia, has four initial "showcase" locations offering the Internet long distance service in South Florida, California, Eastern Canada and shortly will commence this service internationally in Colombia (South America). GTCC has informed ADGI that this Internet long distance service will begin providing access to subscribers by July 1, 1998, which is ahead of its previously planned release date. The network will offer unique service to small and medium sized businesses, with voice, data, paging and by Sept. 1, faxing over the Internet. This service will involve only a monthly service charge, at prices significantly lower than the best long distance calling plans and other currently available Internet calling service calling plans. Using CheapTalk/InfoGate, a subscriber will have unlimited calling to the locations under its service agreement. Additionally, each subscriber will have gateway calling features that will permit calls placed outside of a subscriber's office to be routed over the Internet to the other locations available under the subscriber's agreement. Each subscriber will have gateway calling features that will permit calls placed outside of a subscriber's office to be routed over the Internet to other locations available under the subscriber's agreement. For example, a business subscriber to GTCC's gateway service, with locations in New York and Bogota, South America, will permit its personnel to call from an office in Boston to the office in Bogota, by simply placing a call to the user's New York office, merely for the cost of the call from Boston to New York. The user will be able to access the Internet service with a PIN No. through the GTCC system to place the Internet long distance call to Bogota, at no additional charge. To date, ADGI understands that all other announced long distance calling plans and Internet access calling plans require that each customer subscribe to the service, typically with an activation or membership fee as well as prepaid calling time in increments of $25, $50 or $100. These subscribers are then billed at published rates varying between $.075 and $.09 per minute. Additionally, most of the calling plans presently are not available to customers outside of the United States and those that do offer such service abroad charge significantly higher rates. With the CheapTalk service by ADGI's affiliate, a subscriber can utilize all of CheapTalk's service features at any location under its subscription agreement, with no geographical or calling time restrictions, provided there is Internet access, for only a monthly service fee. GTCC's CheapTalk/InfoTalk service is available for single line telephones and the subscriber does not need a computer. All the user requires is the GTCC InfoTalk unit, an Internet account and generally, pays only for the first minute of any long distance call to any other CheapTalk/InfoTalk equipped telephone.
