Two questions re heat and partitions: 1. Pros and cons on leaving off the side of a tower case to reduce heat? 2. I added a second hard drive as slave (6.4 gigs). System assigned it with letter D and reassigned second partition on first drive as letter E. I manually changed many shortcuts (using win95a)on desktop, in folders, in system.ini, win.ini, autoexec, config.sys and in the registry from d to e. Ultimately I plan to make the new drive the master and anticipate having the same problem all over again. Am I doing something wrong and/or is there an easier way to change references to drive letters? Thanks in advance.
