Greg, Alaska..???? I had no idea we had any friends here from my favorite place in the world. Have fished Kenai and other Cook Inlet streams (never during the Chinook run) twice. I have never been anywhere so beautiful. That said I remember the Alaska recession. Had a friend who had a son who worked up there until it tanked. You are right about your link..it was a rant and cleverly written. Although the author's comments are not baseless he has forgotten why we have been able to build the society we have and from where the societies he bashes have come from. Nevertheless, there is a great deal of catching up to do here. I hope to be a small part of it. Best, Stitch
