NAMES NEW PRESIDENT CALGARY, June 3 /CNW/ - Coral Energy Canada Inc. announced today the appointment of Jim Locke to the position of President, effective June 1, 1998. Mr. Locke previously held the position of Coral Energy Canada Senior Vice President. Mr. Locke joined Coral Energy Canada in 1997, following its acquisition of Cibola Canada Energy Marketing, a natural gas marketing company he co-founded in 1991. He will relocate from Coral's Eastern Office in Kitchener, Ontario to assume his new position in Calgary. Coral Energy Canada Inc. was formed in May 1997 when the natural gas marketing operations of Shell Canada Limited were merged into Coral Energy, L.P. Shell Canada indirectly obtained a minority equity ownership in Coral Energy, L.P., with the remaining ownership jointly held by Shell Oil Company and Tejas Energy, LLC. Coral Energy Canada Inc., headquartered in Calgary, is a major natural gas marketing company, with volumes of about 1.5 billion cubic feet per day (BCF/d).
