Worswick, I would not worry about Buffet, his announcement that they bought silver was a "postmortem", what I call a Vinik announcement. By the time everyone was rushing to push silver a little higher than $7, guess who was selling to them? Buffet.

we are seeing continual raw materials deflation

That's really bad news for places that export this stuff (Russia, Australia, African and Mideast nations)

Not certain that this will set us up for the biggest boom ever.

I was totally surprised to see that cash flow problems are reducing the ability of East Asian exporters to take advantage of recent currency devaluations. You can't export as efficiently when your local economy is collapsing...
