>>>My understanding is that the contract was awarded to DSC & Westell together.

One caveat though. I don't think Bell Atlantic has made any statements regarding their DMT plans. I think I've seen references to Aware working with DSC. DMT is still quite a ways off though. Here's what MZ said in the cc. "I think Bell Atlantic, along with the rest of our customers, are interested in migrating to industry standard type of solutions as soon as possible. Bell Atlantic has been very practical in saying the number one thing is their customers and to get going... that they would like to migrate to DMT as soon as it's available, and available to them means available in the power, the size, the cost, the performance with the reliability they want. I think it's fair to say that in '99 ...probably in the mid to late '99 you'll see them migrate to a DMT solution. To that extent I don't think it's realistic to assume that we necessarily have an exclusive arrangement. I would be very happy if they bought solutions from DSC from Lucent and from Westell directly. I would have no problem with that non-exclusive arrangement."
