jim, I stopped to respond to your link before reading rest of Q posts so maybe somebody has translated the link you posted authored by Frank Colucio (sp?). I hope so. Frank C. is one heavy duty dude, posts on the Gilder telecom thread and elsewhere. Other telecom techies think this guy be "da man". Evidently had system architecture design responsibility for Internet 2, wired up all the New York area colleges and universities, and other trivial matters. If he thinks the FON announcement is hot potatoes (and he does), then it must be more than another poof piece from the WSJ. Surfer Mike
