Meat - Good point about portables, I think that the sub-sub-notebook category (the MSFT 'jupiter' initiative) will combine a very low cost high integration platform with a cheap OS to yield some pretty nice products for under $300. If I could get VGA graphics, office suite SW and PDA functionality in a 1.5 lb. package that fit easily into my already crowded briefcase I would snap it up in a minute. But it would not replace my 'big' laptop or any desktops...
