"I really wish Really-a-noise would go away."

Indeed my anonymous fellow, you sound really annoyed.

To Justa and All, Re: WEEKEND POLL RESULTS

As stated in one of my earlier posts, I did not vote in the "Poll." The reason for my inaction was that I did not have enough information to vote, since I haven't read Rillinois' posts for the past few weeks. As I indicated previously, I simply skip over his/her posts (to avoid the repetition) by clicking the "next" button at the top of the page. Since I haven't been reading Rillinois' posts, I felt unqualified to judge them.

Notwithstanding the above, I thank Justa and the thread participants who did vote for expressing good, common-sense ideas and/or giving me a good chuckle. I have comments/questions regarding a few of the responses:

"Rill . should broaden her horizon and vary her subject matter." AMEN!!! But will it happen? Do I actually need to begin reading Rillinois' posts?

"I really wish Really-a-noise would go away. But there's little chance he will because Elaine Garzarelli is paying him too much to do this (Just a hunch -- I have no evidence)." When Rillinois first appeared on the thread, my thoughts were along the same line. My original speculation was that Rillinois is one of the bad news bears or totally incorrect "experts" that Bob sometimes makes fun of on the show. Rillinois' posts were just too full of vengeance not to come from an individual who believes Bob has done some damage to him/her.

"NO!!!! He obviously has a hummer for Brinker. Keep wiping the floor with him if you want. ... I think you are giving him the same treatment that he gives Brinker with his posts. . This asswipe should check the mirror for the reason behind all his perceived mistreatment. Poor little boy is getting a taste of his own medicine and doesn't even know it. ." Thanks for the chuckle.

". What I don't understand is why folks keep responding to him. If we'd stop engaging him, he'd probably dry up and go away on his own." My thoughts exactly; hopefully we'll be correct.

"Any thinking person reading this board should be able to figure out very quickly that Rillnoise has an axe to grind." I agree completely.

"He has said what he has to say a dozen times or more -- enough is enough." AMEN!

" Anybody with an ounce of common sense realizes that all Rillinois is doing is libeling Bob." Good point.

"You know index investors are by nature passive people. Passive investor = passive person. But this dude is a crazed loon about the subject. Imagine for a second -- a militant indexer? Yeah, right." Very interesting thought, thanks.

"NO! This guy is like the Borg -- he will never stop. ..." Thanks for the chuckle.

Thanks Justa and all threaders who took the time to participate.

Best wishes,

I2

Justa: re: < results from the Weekend Poll. >

Great post - I've been looking forward to the results ever since the poll was announced. Some of those except comments were hilarious.

It occurs to me that if we could redirect the energies of "the polled one", maybe he/she could serve a constructive purpose. Do you think he/she would be interested in the assignment of tracking the performance of James Cramer's predictions on CNBC and reporting back to the thread ? :-)
