JP:

I think it's mostly general market weakness (unfortunately, most of my stocks have been getting hit, then rebounding if I'm lucky), and now it's AXSI's turn. There's a shakeout going on, I think, where the weak are leaving and others are coming in to buy as discounted lower levels.

Also, perhaps the meeting announcement gave people pause, since they thought products under the XLV agreement would be ready in the 2nd half of '98 (I seem to recall that), but now they must wait until Q1 '99. We need some announcements, but no one is listening in this market right now--just looking for excuses to sell. Maybe in a couple of weeks.

Anyway, I'm still long and I picked up some more this morning, but while I'm pleased to get shares under (pre-split) $.15, I'm not happy about the shares I got at (post-split) $7.50. (I'm sorry, because I know it's much worse than that for you and others.)

Good luck,

--John
