I cant give you a link since I read the article and went on
but there is a free two week subscription to thestreet.com
and I encourage everyone just to look at it if just for those two weeks

I dont subscribe but I did check it out

anyway you might be able to find the article BUT last time I was there the search function was disabled...

Instinet.. I would only trade hi-flyers that have 1 - 3 point intraday spread. So far I've not traded that much on instinet, mostly earnings plays that have NOT gapped up on pre-market trading like VTS last week. I would have liked SPLN today but it DID gap up BEFORE the open. CHCS would have been good to trade pre-open today, but I'm still cautious. What you could do is get a real time news like Reuters (I have that) and look at upgrades/downgrades from 8:15 to 9:15. I'm trying that lately especially if the S&P futures are up over 2 points or so.
