Oh, then my girlfriend will love Washington Square. Well, I hope I'm not totally alienated by it. But I am a huge Henry James fan. In the analysis of Queen Margot, I did concede that there were aspects of it I enjoyed very much, specifically Henri, King of Navarre's character. Like a defiant mouse in a den of cats. His fear and skittishness were apparent, but he fought it down and went on. Excellent; I imagine it would be easier to write/perform that character as a monolith of strength. Also, Isabelle Adjani is heavenly. Truly.
