COMS went down 1/4 point, there's has to be more

No one (that can move the stock) cares what COMS earnings will be. Unless it's dramatically bad, a few pennies low will not affect the price much. What most investors, especially from the institutional side, are waiting for is the guidance on the earnings call. Guidance positive = stock up; guidance negative = stock down (flat at best). It's pretty simple. You shouldn't be searching for or speculating on the quarterly results. A vital kernel of info. will be what the prospects are going forward (i.e. channel reductions and sell-thru, demand, competitive positioning). Anyone that can get their hands on that info. will be in a good position to make a ton of cash. Please let me know as well.
