Perhaps the golden *selling* opportunity that jumped out
of nowhere today will be some compensation.

Let's take a look at the "reasons" MUEI is up today, as
reported in the last few posts:

- CEO yaks it up at Paine Webber tout-fest (any clue
whatsoever as to what he said?) No stock manipulation
goes on after those shows, nope!

- takeover speculation by briefing.com -- remember last April and May when CPQ was gonna buy MUEI, about a week before option expiration each time? (What the hell does a merger of two telecom companies have to do with MUEI anyway!? But this is the best they can find!)

Now let's consider other news:

- DELL is up 2 today after announcing an inventory
reduction plan from 8 days to 4 days. GTW is up as well.
Whose news drove these three stocks, DELL's or MUEI's?

- MUEI announced a big ad campaign on Monday. Remember what the stock did yesterday? nothing.

What if computer demand stays low? DELL makes a little
money by liquidating a little bit of inventory to get to
that 4-day level, MUEI is presented with a bunch of bills from the newspaper and TV advertising departments.
