Your INFE short was a failure and you were not burned just by luck. You began shorting at wrong time and just because you put a small percentage of your account for initial short otherwise your account would have been closed before you could average up any more.
For BB stocks, longs could make 10 or 20 times profit during a short time but short could only make some % with higher risk. Short is not a wise trading for BB. You still can make money shorting BB, but you need to practice several months to be familiar with BB stocks patterns.
If next time you short like in this INFE case, I would think you are not good at short at all. If every time you use 1/5 or 1/10 of your account for a short, I would think even you make money in every your short, it is a very small amount, worthless of mentioning. If you use larger amount, your chance of closing account is pretty high.
Good luck.
