You know, not only does Newark have some of the cleanest water in the country....Anhueser-Busch has first rights to it for their brewery on the southern end of town. As a matter of fact....years ago Newark had dozens of breweries. Including the home of Ballantine, maker of Pale Ale. Perhaps the best ale I ever had, personally. Although I did for a time...I don't live in Newark. I live a few miles NE in Montclair. EDIT. I bad-mouthed Newark once and someone said I did not have to stay if I did not want to, so....
