Aside from that yes, buy on rumor, sell on news. Dell didn't get 'punished with a 20% correction" the industry did. CPQ and GWT got 'punished'.

Wait a minute, Jim.
We consumers of Dell stock were getting ahead of ourselves,accelleration the price of Dell stock too quickly. We just had a split.

Now isn't it just possible that MD decided to slow the skyrocketing price of this stock, by shaving a penny off?

Don't think for a minute the larders aren't full: this penny off the whisper number could have been very intentional.
