Oh Ya? Well I talked to Anita today and got a different answer. :-)

The reason she gave for not having begun the trial, was that a bank had not been contracted to process ATM cards. She said that they intend to contract an International Bank in London. It makes sense, if there isn't a bank to process cards its hard to conduct a trial.

Now consider, Hughes is on his way to London to demonstrate the Newcom Platform at Mobile Commerce 98 - Jun 23-24. The plan is to place a $100 bet. I submit, this demo may be a little difficult if there isn't a bank to process the card. Anyway, my bet is Hughes will return from London with a bank contract in his pocket, else he will not show at Mobile Commerce 98. Ah! the price we pay so BETT can make a big splash when entering the game.

You make an interesting comment about share holder approval to relocate to Las Vegas. Considering E&ET owns 60% of BETT, they only have to have one shareholder's approval and it ain't mine or yours. Ah! if democracies were governed by the median (not to be confused with mediocre) and not the mean, then maybe you'd have a say.

Another note, with 9,600,000 shrs outstanding and 10 million shrs authorized, BETT will be looking for financing soon. I'm not up to speed on BETT, but I imagine this money will be required to complete the trail and put 60,000 Pay Masters into commercial use.

Anyway, the middle of next week promises to be a high time for BETT. So pick your prices!
