Well John, I have some good news. I won't be asking about Merced's state of incorporation. I have reread all the releases and updates on the Joe Turmaine thread, and I have found this:

On March 4, 1998, the Company announced the signing of a Letter of Intent with Merced, Inc. of Florida for the exclusive worldwide license to sell, market and distribute . . .

So diligence does pay off sometimes. Too bad the company has been so unresponsive. We still don't have any indication if the company founded in NV has any relationship, but unless Merced decides to go public, I am sure there can be no way to know that.
