<AMD has been blowing their horn about selling K6's at a 25% discount to Intel's Pentium II. Is that Predatory Pricing by AMD - especially when you consider they are LOSING MONEY on every chip they sell?

>

Why Paul, you've got a point there! AMD is in violation of the law, not Intel. AMD is selling below cost in an attempt to drive Intel out of business. AMD should be investigated by the FTC, not Intel. Intel is the victum here, not AMD. Will there ever be any justice?

Paul E., "Predatory Pricing" is a legal term which only applies to monopolies.

Remember the stories in your HS history textbook about big oil companies selling at a loss in new markets but raising price in old ones in which they had achieved a monopoly by driving the smaller guys out of business?
