I believe you said that Intel has 7 fabs involved in making CPU's. If less than two of them make SRAM's, that leaves 5 or more equivalent fabs for making Pentium II core die.

So you admit that Intel requires MORE THAN 5 FABS to produce 22 million CPU's per quarter. At 5000 wafers/week/fab, 130mm die size, 210 potential die/wafer, (you say) 160 good die/wafer, they should be making 5000*5*160*13 =
52 million CPU's per quarter.

Either Intel is vastly underutilizing their fabs, or their yield is way below what you say it is.
