Most of the so-called biotech "miracle" drugs are really quite primitive and will be replaced by better versions in the future. However, a new drug takes years and years of testing before being marketed and patients need something in the interim. ( As an example, we all listened to records and cassettes before the advent of CDs, and I bet 10 years from now CDs will seem prehistoric ).

Has anybody heard whether the actually approval of avakine will go ahead as planned? Could there be a problem?
