Good to know that CompUSA isn't just making positive comments for Jobs' little media events, but to the Street as well.

Eric, thanks for the news on Moody's (way overdue, IMO) and as always, for the MacEvolution updates. I wonder if the Comp employee you talked to somehow misunderstood the question about PowerBook quantities? Puzzling. We should all remember that the 3400s came out mid-to-late quarter last year and still had a big impact.

Rhet, have you considered the possibility of Apple selling PCs that have Windows and Carbon/Diamond loaded up? That's where I think Apple can offer value-added PCs. A good looking PC at a fair price, with the Mac OS as bonus. Would cost them $45 for Windows, of course. I really do think that unless the market share numbers turn around within a year, the Mac on PowerPC will be doomed--ie, smaller and smaller sales.
