IBM and QNX to Develop Pervasive Computing Technologies - Alliance will include collaborative engineering on strategic products and cross-licensing of advanced technologies - SAN FRANCISCO, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- IBM Corporation and QNX Software Systems Ltd. (QSSL) today announced that they will work together to develop technologies for use in a new class of pervasive computing devices. As part of a non-exclusive agreement, QSSL will provide IBM with key components of the QNX(R)/Neutrino(R) realtime operating system (RTOS) for use in pervasive computing devices and applications. In turn, IBM will provide QSSL with advanced embedded technologies for integration into the QNX/Neutrino product suite.
