Granville wrote "Warning: The Coming Great Crash in the Stock Market" in 1985. The 'crash' of 1987 seemed to vindicate him, except he was obsessively bearish until the last 2 or 3 years. As a result he became the butt of many jokes. In the last two years he has rehabilitated his reputation as a good prognosticator. Hope he can do same for ANDW.
