A good argument for buying INTC now

You could average down your losses.

"You called, hey theres plenty of room here at the shelter I'm staying at. Your welcome to join me. I have a bunch of Intel and I'm sure their going to warn. Stock getting creamed.
Isn't life wonderful ?"

It is when you buy Intel when things look more than a little bleak, and then the world decides that indeed computers are not a fad and we'll take several more (Xeons we hope) to do better business heading into 2000 and beyond. But that's only a wonderful future life. I've been DRIPping into INTC since they posted their blowout earnings in April of '97. Those shares cost me about 73.50 split-adjusted. Talk about flat (to down)! I think I'll give them a few more years. They've never reminded me of IBM, but they don't have to act like IBM or MOT to have a tough time. A little pain can do alot of good for a company (and ultimately it's share price). I'll be upgrading within a year, but not to one of their highest margin chips.
