Lisa, I lost track of the trading day...

Wasn't aware we were at closing bell. Briefly, SPX signaled a potential reversal of bearish trend. However, I have less confidence in follow-through tomorrow. The last hour was ugly, with back to back sell programs. At one point 28 of 30 INDU stocks were down.

For now, RUT is holding up while NDX is receiving the most punishment. Although I haven't seen the A/D line yet, it must look terrible. Volume is somewhat lower during the steepest declines in SPX and NDX. This is a half-glass scenario that suggests tepid buying interest. (I beleive people are afraid to admit they're afraid.)

My approach for tomorrow is to short SPX above 1094, adjusting as needed.
