Larry,

I think it was all my fault that NN got hit today.

Last night, I compared "Analysts" with "Lying, F***ing Jerks". I shouldn't have done that. It was unfair, unkind and unwarranted.

I sincerely, and without any reservation whatsoever, offer my apology to all the "Lying, F***ing Jerks" out there; and I promise never to compare them with "analysts" again.

Ian.

When you listened to the conference call, do you know if MacLellan asked any questions during the call? Near the market close, our stock is 25 1/8, down 4 7/8. Can you comment on the analyst's statements, and speculate as to why the stock price was hit today?

He was there. When his turn came, he said, "I have no questions."

I have a call in to John Lawlor to get his clarification on whatever guidance might have been given to analysts after the conference call. The one analyst I talked to raised REV estimates for FY98 and 99; maintained EPS for '98, and lowered EPS for '99 (by six cents).

I added at 26 1/8 and clearly jumped the gun.

Can anyone tell what sort of blocks went through? Was it big guys bailing or a lot of small stuff?

Later --

Pat
